Tell Me Your Story, Dad

Posted by Ololade Olajide on

We see our Dads as just Dads. We grew up having them in our lives ( if we are lucky). We sometimes forget that they were once babies, children, and teens before they grew into Adults.

The prodigal son knew his Dad, so he returned after he messed up.

Do you know what it was like as your Dad was growing up? How was his childhood? Who did he live with, his siblings? What were he and his best friends up to? My dad had a bookshop while l was a young child, and the name was 'I.S.O ....'

I never bothered what these acronyms meant till he died, and we were now trying to write a Biography of his life.

Sometimes, we understand our Dads better if we can have a glimpse into their past.

Sheldon would always knock three times before entering a room. Peggy knew why. Because she asked, it came from his past. Are you not a fan of The Big Bang Theory?

How much of your dad's past do you know?

Grab a copy of my book to record your Dad's journey in life.
